Please Welcome Our New Attorney, Kevin P. Gilmartin, Who Joined Pezzano Law Group In June, 2023.

Kevin was born and raised in Rochester, New York. As a young child, Kevin began playing the violin at the age of 3. He began working at a local diner at the age of 14 and has not stopped working since. By the age of 16, he had three jobs, instilling in him pride in a hard day’s work. As a result, he has admiration for those who work hard in this world and is committed to upholding the rights of those injured while working to support their families.

Kevin attended St. Bonaventure University where he obtained his B.A./M.B.A. in accounting and finance. He obtained his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2008. While in law school, he supported himself by working for KPMG’s state and local tax department in Chicago. After law school, he began working with a company which is now known as BDO, USA in Virginia. Upon the birth of his niece and nephew, he moved to New Jersey to be closer to family. He then met his wife and became an associate in a prominent Ocean County Law Firm, while also opening his own accounting practice. He has experience handling workers’ compensation and personal injury claims, as well as real estate and landlord/tenant matters.

At Pezzano Law Group, he will be handling workers’ compensation matters. His knowledge of finance and accounting is sure to be useful when calculating an injured workers’ wages, disability rate, and permanent disability benefits. He is eager to assist our clients in obtaining the maximum compensation allowable following a work injury.

Kevin is also active in his community, serving as President of his local school board. He resides in Monmouth County with his wife and young son.
